[Case Study of Problem Solving] Production of Shoji Transoms
Introducing examples of shoji and transom production. Leave it to us for all your needs in fixtures and furniture.
Mokoubi Co., Ltd. and Hattori are engaged in the custom creation of fittings, furniture, and wooden products, as well as maintenance of fittings. We will introduce examples of how we have solved our clients' problems with photos. We received a request to create a transom for a two-room Japanese-style room, as the open transom area allowed cold air to flow through, and the budget was not very high. To meet the request for preventing airflow and desiring maintenance-free options, we produced a shoji transom using cedar wood. The lattice is double-sided, with a 2mm thick Warlon plate sandwiched in between. [Case Study] ■ Request - To block the transom area so that air does not flow through - To create it with a low budget and maintenance-free ■ Proposal - Production of a shoji transom using cedar wood - The lattice is double-sided, with a 2mm thick Warlon plate sandwiched in between *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
